Primary - Egyptian Day
On the 30th of April, Primary took part in an Ancient Egyptian Day. This day included many hands-on activities to allow the pupils to immerse themselves in our new topic and to enable them to understand the day-to-day lives of people through those times. The pupils took part in: hieroglyphic writing, creating their own cartouches and beetles out of clay, building an Egyptian mask and artefact exploration. Next half term, the pupils will be moving on to ‘The Big Top’ and learning about the amazing magic that happens within a circus.
