Quality In Careers Award

Muntham House School has successfully retained this award this half term, which is an excellent achievement for the school.  This award recognises the high-quality Careers and Work Experience programme in place at the school.

The assessor looked at every aspect of careers within our school and stated:

‘The ethos of ‘Safe, Caring and Happy’ is strong, with an emphasis on supporting and enabling pupils to develop their potential through secondary school experience into adult life, including further education and employment.’

‘The school has maintained a zero figure for NEET (Not in Employment, Education or other training) for the last 4 years.’

The Assessor had the opportunity to speak with the Principal as part of the assessment, who stated that ‘Careers is the most important part of the curriculum’ and who is wholeheartedly committed to a whole school approach to Careers.

Congratulations to the Careers team, Mr Hellyer and Mrs Du Vergier for their excellent work for all of the pupils at Muntham House School.
