Over the months of November and December 2014 and into January 2015, Peter has been visiting museums with Mr Hellyer. These include Hendon RAF museum, the Imperial War Museum, the D-Day Museum and the National Maritime Museum. Each museum has been really interesting and has its own very special displays.
Such items as Lord Nelson's tunic (which he was shot and died in), WW2 Lancaster's, D-Day landing craft and WW1 weapons were all observed and impressed both Peter and Mr Hellyer.
Peter has learnt his way around the London underground and is a lot more confident on the trains now, although more practice is needed to increase his and Mr Hellyer's confidence.
Over the next few months Peter will have a comprehensive museum comparison guide which is currently being compiled and when finished will give the school a better understanding of what each museum offers.
Peter has met and talked to lots of people during his museums tour and has worked really hard on the project as well as being a fantastic ambassador to the school while out at the museums.
